October–March

RUFF Challenge

Six months of indoor golf to keep your game sharp all winter. Every month has one main challenge and four side quests – all played in our TrackMan simulators, at every level, on your own or as a team.

You pick up the booklet at your nearest RUFF. That is where you tick off your challenges through the season.

How it works

Pick it up, play, tick it off

  • Collect your booklet at reception at your RUFF – it is free.
  • Every month has one main challenge, played in the simulator.
  • Each month also brings four side quests – everything from raw skill to pure luck.
  • Tick off what you complete in the booklet and chase the leaderboard.
RUFF Challenge 2026 – cover

Month by month

The 2026/27 season

1. October – Stableford Challenge

Points instead of strokes. A bogey scores 1 point, a par 2 and a birdie 3 – and a single blow-up hole only costs you that one hole. A format that rewards aggressive play and gives you the confidence to hunt the flag.

  • The Autumn Opener – Play 9 holes at St Andrews Old Course.
  • Bullseye 1K – Score 1,000+ points in the TrackMan game Bullseye.
  • Fairway Finder – Hit a total of 3 fairways during a 9-hole round.
  • The Speed Demon – Hit a ball speed over 130 mph (men) / 100 mph (women).

Partner of the month: DuckHook

2. November – Closest to the pin

Selected par-3 holes across the TrackMan network and one single mission: put the ball as close to the cup as humanly possible. Every millimetre counts – pick the right club and dial in your distance control.

  • Lofoten Links – Play 9 holes at Lofoten Links.
  • Flag Hunter – Land any shot within 2.0 metres of the pin.
  • CTF Master – Capture at least 3 zones in the Capture the Flag game.
  • Clean Sheet Par 3 – Hit the green on every par-3 hole during a 9-hole round.

Partner of the month: Golfamore

3. December – Closest to the pin

Same format, one more month to sharpen your precision. The great equalizer – on any given day anyone can hit the perfect shot and end up top of the leaderboard.

  • The Winter Escape – Play 9 holes at PGA West Stadium Golf Course.
  • The Pin Clank – Hit the pin or flagstick with an approach shot.
  • One-Putt Wonder – Card a 1-putt on any hole.
  • The 200 Bomb – Hit a drive that lands on the fairway with a carry over 200 metres (men) / 150 metres (women).

Partner of the month: Lacoste

4. January – Single challenge

Classic stroke play: just you, the simulator and the course from the 1st tee to the 9th green. No partner to lean on – the ultimate test of consistency and course management.

  • The New Year Desert – Play 9 holes at PGA National.
  • The Birdie Club – Card at least 1 birdie during a round.
  • Sand Save – Make par or better after landing in a greenside bunker.
  • Bouncing Back – Make a par (or better) immediately after a bogey or worse on the previous hole.

Partner of the month: GolfGameBook

5. February – Foursome challenge

Alternate shot with a partner: one ball, the whole round. Player A tees off, player B plays the second shot – every decision you make lands straight in your team-mate’s lap. It takes trust, strategy and a sense of humour.

  • The Team Test – Play 9 holes of Foursome at Le Golf National.
  • No Friction – Complete a hole without hitting any rough or bunkers.
  • The Clutch Putt – Sink a putt longer than 5.0 metres.
  • Double Strike – Both players land a drive on the fairway with a carry over 200 metres (men) / 150 metres (women) during the same session.

Partner of the month: TUI

6. March – Greensome challenge

The season finale. Both players tee off on every hole, the team picks the best drive and plays alternate shot from there. All the strategy of team golf with the comfort of two chances.

  • The Grand Finale – Play 9 holes of Greensome at Cabot Cliffs.
  • Green In Regulation – Hit the green after choosing the shorter of your two tee shots.
  • Perfect Start – Land both players’ drives on the fairway on the same par-4 hole.
  • The Tag-Team Birdie – Make a birdie where player A drives, player B hits the approach and player A sinks the putt. Manual putting required.

Partner of the month: Takomo

From the booklet

The booklet is in print at every RUFF venue – just ask at reception.

Complete them all – go to Belek

And to make it all a little more interesting: everyone who completes every challenge of the season goes into the draw for a trip for one person with RUFF to Masters Week in Belek, 5–12 April 2027. Seven nights all inclusive at Sueno Hotels, four rounds on Sueno Pines and Sueno Dunes, and the Masters on the big screen every evening. Read more about the trip.

Pick up the booklet at your RUFF and get going.

We trust our community to log their results honestly, respect the game and keep the spirit of competition clean. Let the TrackMan data speak for itself, play fair and have fun out there.
